Screening of high-risk foot of diabetes in community and analysis of its risk factors
Objective To screen high-risk foot of diabetes in community and analyze its risk factors. Methods 200 diabetic patients were selected, all of whom underwent information collection, focused examination, tuning fork examination and lower limb vascular lesion examination. The screening results of diabetic patients were recorded and the factors affecting high-risk foot of diabetes were analyzed. Results Sereening of 200 diabetic patients for ankle-brachial index(ABI)and foot nerve conduction,63 patients had high-risk foot(high-risk foot group),accounting for 31.50%,and 137 patients had non-high-risk foot(non-high-risk foot group),accounting for 68.50%.In the high-risk foot group, the percentages of patients>60 years of age, diabetes duration>10 years, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic renal disease, and smoking were 66.67%(42/63),63.49%(40/63),58.73%(37/63),55.56%(35/63),61.90%(39/63),and 65.08%(41/63);in the non-high-risk foot group, the percentages of patients>60 years of age, diabetes duration>10 years, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic renal disease, and smoking were 38.69%(53/137),32.85%(45/137),29.93%(41/137),35.77%(49/137),37.23%(51/137),and 37.23%(51/137).The percentages of patients>60 years of age, diabetes duration>10 years, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic renal disease, and smoking in the high-risk foot group were higher than those of non-the high-risk foot group, and there were significant differences between groups(P<0.05).The long diabetes duration, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, older age and smoking were independent risk factors for high-risk foot of diabetes(P<0.05).Conclusion High-risk foot of diabetes is one of the common complications of diabetes patients, and its occurrence is related to many factors. The occurrence of high-risk foot of diabetes can be effectively prevented and controlled by strengthening blood glucose control, banning tobacco use and regular foot screening.
