Exploring the influence of prescription reviewer's intervention in medical order review on unreasonable drug use
Objective To analyze the influence of prescription reviewer's intervention in medical order review on unreasonable drug use.Methods 117 118 medical orders from pharmacy intravenous admixture services in 2021 and 127 747 orders in 2022 were selected for analysis.In 2021,there was no prescription reviewer's intervention in medical order review,and in 2022,there was prescription reviewer's intervention in medical order review.The unreasonable medical orders in pharmacy intravenous admixture services in 2021 and 2022 were compared.Results The incidence of unreasonable medical orders in 2022 was 0.49%,which was lower than 0.85%in 2021,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Unreasonable medical advice mainly includes improper selection of solvent,inappropriate solvent dosage,inappropriate dosage,inappropriate frequency of administration,and improper compatibility.By reviewing medical orders and taking effective measures to intervene in unreasonable drug use,pharmacists can ensure rational clinical medication and the safety of patient medication.
