Observation on the efficacy of drugs combined with acupuncture and moxibustion to promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in postoperative obstetrics and gynecology patients
Objective To analyze the effect of drugs combined with acupuncture and moxibustion to promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in postoperative obstetrics and gynecology patients.Methods 82 patients who underwent obstetric and gynecological surgery were selected for the study,and were divided into a conventional group and a study group by the random sampling method,each with 41 cases.The conventional group was treated with drugs after surgery,and the study group was treated with drugs in combination with acupuncture and moxibustion after surgery.The therapeutic effects,clinical indicators,incidence of complications,symptom score,and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of 97.56%in the study group was higher than 80.49%in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the study group,the disappearance time of abdominal distension,first exhaust time,first defecation time,and infusion days were(12.01±1.25)h,(4.44±0.25)h,(30.01±3.66)h,and(2.71±0.54)d,which were shorter than(27.78±2.42)h,(23.28±2.12)h,(45.76±4.12)h and(4.25±0.86)d in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was 2.44%,which was lower than 17.07%in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the symptom score of(5.10±1.20)points in the study group was lower than(7.45±1.68)points in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of physical functioning,role-physical function,mental health,role-emotional and social functioning were(89.78±5.65),(89.89±5.76),(89.90±5.87),(88.78±4.69)and(88.74±4.67)points in the study group,which were higher than(74.58±10.25),(74.47±10.14),(75.58±10.25),(76.47±9.17)and(76.13±9.84)points in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of drugs and acupuncture and moxibustion therapy for patients after gynecological and obstetric surgery can reduce the complications of patients,improve their clinical symptoms,shorten the first exhaust time and first defecation time,and promote the rapid recovery of their gastrointestinal function,and it has high clinical application value.
