Observation on clinical value of blood lipid test in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus
Objective To explore the practical value of blood lipid test in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods 76 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were selected as the study group, and another 76 healthy people who came to our hospital for physical examination were selected as the control group. All the study subjects were subjected to blood lipid testing, and the blood lipid indicators[total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)]and the incidence of dyslipidemia were compared between the two groups. Results The study group had TC of(5.81±1.00)mmol/L,TG of(2.21±0.83)mmol/L and LDL-C of(3.67±0.50)mmol/L,which were higher than(4.53±0.60),(1.21±0.31)and(2.58±0.51)mmol/L in the control group;HDL-C of(1.05±0.10)mmol/L in the study group was lower than(1.30±0.32)mmol/L in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence rates of high TC,high TG,high LDL-C and low HDL-C in the study group were 30.3%,39.5%,30.3%and 59.2%,which were higher than 5.3%,7.9%,5.3%and 11.8%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, the blood lipid test can provide accurate reference for disease diagnosis and facilitate the targeted implementation of treatment plans.
