Comparison of the application effect of compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder and magnesium sulfate, sodium sulfate and potassium sulfate concentrate oral solution in intestinal preparation
Objective To compare the application effect of compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder and magnesium sulfate, sodium sulfate and potassium sulfate concentrate oral solution in intestinal preparation. Methods 56 cases of patients with intestinal disease examination were divided into a comparison group and a test group by lottery method, with 28 cases in each group. The comparison group used compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder for intestinal preparation before examination, and the test group used magnesium sulfate, sodium sulfate and potassium sulfate concentrate oral solution for intestinal preparation before examination. The qualified rate of intestinal cleaning, the incidence of adverse reactions, electrolyte loss rate, liver and kidney function abnormalities, and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The qualified rate of intestinal cleaning was 92.86%in the test group, which was higher than 64.29%in the comparison group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 10.71%in the test group, which was lower than 42.86%in the comparison group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The loss rates of sodium ion, potassium ion and chloride ion were 7.14%,3.57%and 10.71%in the test group, which were lower than 32.14%,25.00%and 46.43%in the comparison group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The abnormal rates of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, serum urea nitrogen and blood creatinine in the test group were lower than those in the comparison group, but the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The total satisfaction rate of the test group was 89.29%,which was higher than 60.71%of the comparison group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Both compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder and magnesium sulfate, sodium sulfate and potassium sulfate concentrate oral solution can clean the intestine, and will not affect the liver and kidney function of patients. However, magnesium sulfate, sodium sulfate and potassium sulfate concentrate oral solution has more significant intestinal cleaning effect and higher safety, and can reduce the electrolyte loss caused by excessive diarrhea, which is worthy of promotion and application.
