Evaluation of clinical efficacy of medication combined with music in the treatment of patients with chronic schizophrenia
Objective To explore the clinical effect of medication combined with music in the treatment of patients with chronic schizophrenia. Methods A total of 50 patients with chronic schizophrenia were selected as the subjects of this study.Based on the admission sequence number of patients, patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a randomized number grouping method, each consisting of 25 cases. The control group was treated with conventional drugs, and the observation group was treated with medicine combined with music therapy. The degree of mental decline and rehabilitation were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment,in the observation group, the total positive factor score was(68.89±11.56)points and the total estimated condition score was(174.18±21.50)points,which were higher than(56.77±11.03)and(149.71±19.26)points in the control group;the total negative factor score of(22.71±11.22)points was lower than(35.06±12.00)points in the control group(p<0.05).After the treatment,in the observation group, the score of work therapy situation was(11.20±3.49)points,the score of life ability was(7.12±3.07)points,the score of social ability was(6.34±3.09)points,the score of hygiene ability was(3.19±1.17)points,and the score of interest level was(9.65±2.41)points,which were all lower than(18.76±4.41),(16.30±4.61),(14.25±3.48),(6.48±2.62),and(16.49±4.54)points in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Intervention with medication combined with music therapy can significantly improve the degree of mental decline and rehabilitation in patients with chronic schizophrenia, and is worthy of promotion and application.
