Analysis of the curative effect of Jinkui Shenqi Decoction combined with ziprasidone in the treatment of bipolar affective psychosis and its influence on the quality of life of patients
Objective To analyze the effect of Jinkui Shenqi Decoction combined with ziprasidone in the treatment of bipolar affective psychosis and its influence on the quality of life of patients. Methods 86 patients with bipolar affective psychosis were selected as the research subjects. The patients were randomly divided into a research group and a conventional group,with 43 cases in each group. Patients in the conventional group were treated with ziprasidone,and patients in the research group were treated with Jinkui Shenqi Decoction combined with ziprasidone. The treatment outcomes,occurrence of adverse reactions,manic episodes,depressive episodes,quality of life,and improvement in social functioning were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with 67.44％ in the conventional group,the total effective rate of the research group was higher at 86.05％ (P<0.05). Compared with 30.23％ in the conventional group,the incidence of adverse reactions of the research group was lower at 9.30％ (P<0.05). After treatment,the scores of Bech-Rafaelsen Mania Rating Scale (BRMS),Young Mania Rating Scale (YMRS),Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) were (8.01±1.01),(14.83±2.72),(10.12±2.02) and (5.74±0.98) points in the research group,which were lower than (15.37±2.14),(17.99±2.83),(17.66±2.73) and (7.56±1.36) points in the conventional group (P<0.05). After treatment,the scores of occupational function,social concern,responsibility,social withdrawal and family function were (0.57±0.42),(0.72±0.30),(0.83±0.18),(1.04±0.21) and (0.56±0.25) points in the research group,which were lower than (0.99±0.56),(1.14±0.62),(1.26±0.44),(1.32±0.23) and (0.87±0.41) points in the conventional group (P<0.05). After treatment,the scores of social function,physical function,mental health and emotional function were (70.34±5.84),(71.45±5.95),(72.56±6.87) and (73.67±6.98) points in the research group,which were higher than (56.14±6.68),(57.25±7.79),(58.36±8.88) and (59.47±8.99) points in the conventional group (P<0.05). Conclusion Jinkui Shenqi Decoction combined with ziprasidone can improve the social function of patients with bipolar affective disorder,improve their quality of life,and reduce the symptoms of bipolar affective disorder. It has significant curative effect and high clinical application value.
