Observation on the clinical efficacy of combined procedure in the treatment of complicated anal fistula
Objective To observe the clinical effect of combined procedure in the treatment of complicated anal fistula. Methods 58 patients with complex anal fistula were divided into a reference group and an observation group according to random number table method, each with 29 cases. The reference group was treated with incision-thread-drawing procedure, and the observation group was treated with combined procedure. The therapeutic effect, wound healing time, visual analogue scale (VAS) score, occurrence of complications, anal incontinence and recurrence were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of 93.10% in the observation group was significantly higher than 72.41% in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the observation group had shorter wound healing time of (21.27±2.36) d than (30.05±2.94) d in the reference group, and lower VAS score of (1.24±0.15) points than (3.41±0.26) points in the reference group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The observation group had complication rate of 6.90%,anal incontinence rate of 3.45% and recurrence rate of 3.45%,which were lower than 27.59%,20.69% and 20.69% in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of patients with complicated anal fistula, combined procedure can promote the improvement of symptoms, accelerate wound healing, relieve pain and reduce complications, and has clinical promotion value.
