Observation on the curative effect of placenta lyophilized powder in the treatment of insomnia and anxiety symptoms in patients with low back myofascitis
Objective To analyze the curative effect of placenta lyophilized powder in the treatment of insomnia and anxiety symptoms in patients with low back myofascitis. Methods 122 patients with low back myofascitis accompanied by insomnia and anxiety symptoms were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into a treatment group and a control group using random numerical table, with 61 cases in each group. Both groups of patients were treated with oral diclofenac sodium sustained-release tablets. On this basis, the control group received oral placebo, while the treatment group received oral placental lyophilized powder. Both groups were compared in terms of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score,Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score,Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) score, serum 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) before and after intervention. Results After intervention, the scores of PSQI,VAS and SAS in both groups were lower than those before intervention;the treatment group had PSQI score of (7.87±1.81) points,VAS score of (3.72±1.04) points and SAS score of (50.52±7.78) points, which were lower than (9.67±2.48),(5.36±1.22) and (62.49±4.56) points in the control group;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention,5-HT in both groups was lower than that before intervention,BDNF was higher than that before intervention;the treatment group had lower 5-HT of (39.39±5.67) ng/ml than (48.07±2.59) ng/ml in the control group, and higher BDNF of (12.17±2.36) ng/ml than (9.75±2.03) ng/ml in the control group;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Oral administration of placenta lyophilized powder can significantly improve the pain, anxiety and sleep quality of patients with low back myofascitis accompanied by insomnia and anxiety symptoms.
