Analysis of the effect of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and comprehensive therapy combined with rehabilitation training on patients with knee osteoarthritis
Objective To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and comprehensive therapy combined with rehabilitation training on patients with knee osteoarthritis. Methods 90 patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received conventional Western medicine therapy, and the observation group received traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and comprehensive therapy combined with rehabilitation training. Both groups were compared in terms of visual analogue scale(VAS)score, symptom score,Lysholm knee score(LKS),activity of daily living(ADL)score,10 m maximum walking speed(10 MWS),quality of life score and treatment effect. Results After treatment, the observation group had VAS score of(1.22±0.31)points and symptom score of(6.35±1.22)points,which were lower than(3.03±0.82)and(9.49±2.08)points in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of LKS,ADL and 10 m MWS were(90.33±6.43)points,(78.69±5.48)points and(0.88±0.19)m/s in the observation group, which were higher than(83.89±7.57)points,(73.36±4.98)points and(0.78±0.18)m/s in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of physical functioning(PF),role-physical(RP),social functioning(SF)and role-emotional(RE)were(85.78±7.43),(85.11±7.43),(87.59±6.93)and(86.99±5.87)points in the observation group, which were higher than(79.56±6.12),(80.69±6.38),(74.82±4.95)and(79.92±7.31)points in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of 97.78%in the observation group was higher than 86.67%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with knee osteoarthritis, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and comprehensive therapy combined with rehabilitation training shows significant effect, which can help reduce pain and other clinical symptoms, promote the rehabilitation of knee joint function, improve the ability of daily life activities, improve the quality of life.
