The diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound examination of breast,uterus and ovary combined with serum sex hormones in girls with precocious puberty
Objective To observe the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound examination of breast,uterus and ovary combined with serum sex hormones in girls with precocious puberty.Methods 60 girls diagnosed with precocious puberty were selected as the research group,and 60 girls with simple early breast development were selected as the control group.Both groups underwent color Doppler ultrasound examination of breast,uterus and ovary and serum sex hormone testing.The diagnostic efficacy of color Doppler ultrasound combined with serum sex hormone testing was analyzed by comparing the ultrasound indexes(breast hypoechoic mass thickness,maximal follicle diameter,uterine volume,and ovarian volume)and serum sex hormone[luteinizing hormone(LH),estradiol(E2),and follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)]levels.Results In the study group,the breast hypoechoic mass thickness was(0.66±0.15)cm,the maximum follicle diameter was(0.64±0.21)cm,the uterine volume was(4.52±1.17)cm3,and the ovarian volume was(2.47±0.85)cm3,which were all greater than(0.40±0.12)cm,(0.34±0.11)cm,(1.56±0.41)cm3 and(1.23±0.36)cm3 in the control group,and there was statistical significance between the two groups(P<0.05).The serum levels of LH,E2 and FSH were(1.39±0.36)IU/L,(35.46±6.07)pg/ml and(4.74±1.15)IU/L in the study group,which were higher than(0.61±0.14)IU/L,(24.14±5.22)pg/ml and(2.23±0.42)IU/L in the control group,and there was statistical significance between the two groups(P<0.05).The results of receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve showed that the sensitivity,specificity,area under the curve(AUC)and Youden's index of ultrasound combined with serum sex hormone diagnosis were higher than single test of breast hypoechoic mass thickness,uterine volume,maximum follicle diameter,ovarian volume,LH,E2 and FSH.Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound examination of breast,uterus and ovary combined with serum sex hormones can provide high diagnostic value for the diagnosis of girls with precocious puberty.
