Clinical effect of insulin aspart combined with metformin in the treatment of diabetes
Objective To explore the clinical effect of insulin aspart combined with metformin in the treatment of diabetes. Methods 98 patients with diabetes were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each consisting of 49 patients. The control group was treated with insulin aspart, and the observation group was treated with insulin aspart combined with metformin hydrochloride enteric-coated tablets.Patients in both groups were compared in terms of blood glucose[fasting plasma glucose(FBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)]level,medication compliance and patient satisfaction. Results After treatment, the observation group had FBG of(6.29±1.31)mmol/L,HbA1c of(6.13±1.46)%and HOMA-IR of(2.19±1.13),which were lower than(7.39±1.85)mmol/L,(7.21±1.56)%and(2.69±1.01)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall medication compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Insulin aspart combined with metformin has positive effect on diabetes. It can significantly improve the blood glucose level of patients, improve their medication compliance and satisfaction. It plays an important role in the rehabilitation of patients and is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
