Analysis of the clinical effect of olanzapine combined with lithium carbonate sustained-release tablets in schizophrenic patients with aggressive behavior
Objective To explore the clinical effect of olanzapine combined with lithium carbonate sustained-release tablets in schizophrenic patients with aggressive behavior. Methods 90 patients with schizophrenia were selected as research subjects, all of whom had aggressive behavior. The patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 45 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with olanzapine monotherapy, and patients in the observation group were treated with olanzapine and lithium carbonate sustained-release tablets. The clinical efficacy,Modified Overt Aggression Scale (MOAS) score, and adverse drug reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of 95.56% in the observation group was significantly higher than 80.00% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of verbal aggression, property aggression,self-aggression and physical aggression were (0.21±0.11),(0.66±0.57),(0.68±0.42) and (0.41±0.35) points in the observation group, which were significantly lower than (0.95±0.21),(1.89±0.62),(1.72±0.51) and (1.21±0.36) points in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse drug reactions of 4.44% in the observation group was significantly lower than 17.78% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of olanzapine and lithium carbonate sustained-release tablets can improve the clinical symptoms of schizophrenia patients with aggressive behavior, and promote the further improvement of treatment effect and safety.
