Observation on efficacy and safety of Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction combined with duloxetine in the treatment of patients with anxiety disorder
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction combined with duloxetine in the treatment of patients with anxiety disorder. Methods 63 patients with anxiety disorders were selected, and randomly divided into a control group (31 cases) and an observation group (32 cases). The control group was treated with duloxetine, while the observation group was treated with Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction on the basis of the control group. The treatment effect, incidence of adverse reactions, and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 90.63%,which was higher than 70.97% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 12.50% during treatment, which was lower than 35.48% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the PSQI score for hypnotic drugs, sleep disorders, daytime dysfunction, sleep latency, sleep time, sleep efficiency, sleep quality and total score in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment;the PSQI score for hypnotic drugs, sleep disorders, daytime dysfunction, sleep latency, sleep time, sleep efficiency, sleep quality and total score were (0.67±0.11),(1.53±0.16),(1.09±0.13),(1.14±0.18),(1.50±0.33),(1.43±0.26),(1.13±0.12) and (8.49±1.71) points, which were lower than (0.87±0.13),(2.00±0.12),(1.67±0.26),(1.86±0.17),(2.19±0.33),(1.83±0.37),(1.80±0.33) and (12.22±2.39) points in the control group;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction and duloxetin has significant clinical efficacy for patients with anxiety disorder, and help improve the sleep quality of patients, and alleviate gastrointestinal adverse reactions caused by taking duloxetine.
