Clinical effect analysis of acupuncture combined with modified Guipi Decoction in treating insomnia in patients with Parkinson's disease
Objective To analyze the clinical value of acupuncture combined with modified Guipi Decoction in treating insomnia in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). Methods 68 cases of PD patients with insomnia were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table,with 34 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with acupuncture+modifed Guipi Decoction. The treatment effect,sleep quality and quality of life score were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group's total effective rate was 94.12%,higher than 76.47% of control group (P<0.05). After treatment,the observation group's sleep quality score was (1.20±0.12)points,sleep duration score was (1.18±0.10)points,sleep disorder score was (1.23±0.15)points,sleep efficiency score was (1.19±0.12) points,daytime function score was (1.20±0.13)points,sleep duration score was (1.25±0.17)points,hypnotic drug score was (1.19±0.15)points,lower than (1.68±0.12),(1.59±0.20),(1.61±0.18),(1.66±0.19),(1.69±0.20),(1.70±0.22),(1.66±0.18)points of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment,the 39-item Parkinson's disease Questionnaire (PDQ-39) score of the observation group was (32.25±2.05) points,which was lower than (41.25±3.91) points of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture+modified Guipi Decoction has significant effect in the treatment of PD patients with insomnia,which can improve the sleep quality of patients and enhance their quality of life.
