Objective To investigate the effect of real-time shear wave elastography(VTIQ)and color Doppler ul-trasound(CDFI)in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid cancer.Methods Ninety-one patients with thyroid cancer in the Fifth People's Hospital of Datong hospital from November 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the malignant group,and 91 patients with benign thyroid nodule admitted during the same period were selected as the benign group.Both groups received VTIQ real-time shear wave elastography and CDFI examination,respectively.The VTIQ[focal tis-sue shear velocity(SMV)]and CDFI parameters[end-diastolic blood velocity(EDV),peak systolic flow velocity(PSV)and blood flow resistance index(RI)]of patients with different pathological characteristics(lymph node metastasis and disease stage)and different prognosis were analyzed in the malignant group,benign group and malignant group.The correlation of VTIQ and CDFI parameters with lymph node metastasis and disease stage of thyroid cancer was ana-lyzed.Results The mean value of SMV,PSV and RI in the malignant group was higher than that in the benign group,and the EDV in the benign group was lower than that in the benign group(P<0.05).The mean value of SMV,PSV and RI in patients with lymph node metastasis and stage Ⅲ to Ⅳ were higher than those without lymph node metastasis and stage Ⅰ to Ⅱ,and the EDV was lower than those without lymph node metastasis and stage Ⅰ to Ⅱ(P<0.05).The results showed that the mean value of SMV,PSV and RI were significantly positively correlated with lymph node metastasis and disease stage of thyroid cancer,while EDV was significantly negatively correlated with lymph node me-tastasis and disease stage of thyroid cancer(P<0.05).The mean value of SMV,PSV and RI in the poor prognosis group was higher than that in the good prognosis group,and the EDV in the good prognosis group was lower than that in the good prognosis group(P<0.05).Conclusion VTIQ real-time shear wave elastic imaging and CDFI examination can clarify the focal information of thyroid cancer,which has high application value in diagnosis and treatment evaluation.
