Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of microRNA-206(miR-206)and mi-croRNA-210(miR-210)in serum of patients with severe cerebral infarction.Methods A total of 96 patients with severe acute cerebral infarction(ACI)admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were regarded as the severe ACI group,meantime,90 patients with mild ACI treated in our hospital were collected as mild ACI group,94 healthy volun-teers in our hospital were the control group.The expression levels of miR-206 and miR-210 in serum of each group were detected by qRT-PCR;Pearson method was applied to analyze the correlation between serum miR-206 and miR-210 ex-pression in patients with severe ACI;ROC curve was applied to analyze the diagnostic value of miR-206 and miR-210 expression levels in serum for severe ACI;multivariate Logistic regression was applied to analyze the influencing factors of severe ACI.Results Compared with mild ACI group,the NIHSS score and cerebral infarction volume in severe ACI group were obviously higher(P<0.05).The expression level of miR-206 in severe ACI group was obviously lower than that in mild ACI group and control group,and that in mild ACI group was obviously lower than that in control group;the expression level of miR-210 in severe ACI group was obviously higher than that in mild ACI group and control group,and that in mild ACI group was obviously higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that the expression levels of miR-206 and miR-210 in serum of patients with severe ACI were negatively corre-lated(r=-0.366,P<0.001).The AUC value of the combination of the two methods in the diagnosis of severe ACI was higher than that of miR-206 and miR-210(Z=21.203,P<0.001;Z=35.634,P<0.001).Logistic regression anal-ysis showed that NIHSS score,cerebral infarction volume,miR-206 and miR-210 expression were the influencing factors of severe ACI(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression level of miR-206 in the serum of patients with severe ACI is ab-normally decreased,and miR-210 is abnormally increased,both of which are the influencing factors of the occurrence of severe ACI.
