Objective To observe the relationship between the expression of serum stimulated thyroglobulin(sTg),thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)and the prognosis of patients with papillary thyroid cancer treated with ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted.30 patients with papillary thyroid cancer who received ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation in our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 and had a good prognosis were included in the good prognosis group.30 patients with papillary thyroid cancer who under-went ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation but had metastasis and recurrence during the collection period were in-cluded in the poor prognosis group. The expression of sTg and TSH in fasting serum before treatment was compared between the two groups, and the relationship between the expression of sTg and TSH in serum and the prognosis of ul-trasound-guided radiofrequency ablation was analyzed. Results The expression of serum TSH and sTg in the poor prognosis group was higher than that in the good prognosis group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in other data between the two groups(P>0.05);The results of logistic re-gression model showed that the expression of fasting serum TSH and sTg before treatment was related to the progno-sis of patients with papillary thyroid cancer treated with ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation. The overexpression of serum TSH and sTg may be risk factors for poor prognosis of patients with papillary thyroid cancer treated with ul-trasound-guided radiofrequency ablation(OR>1,P<0.05);The results of ROC curve showed that the AUC of fasting serum TSH and sTg expression before treatment to predict the risk of poor prognosis in patients with papillary thyroid cancer treated with ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation was>0.80.According to the ROC curve, the fasting ser-um TSH and sTg before treatment were ≥1.870 mIU/L,≥15.125 μg/L,the higher the risk of poor prognosis in pa-tients with papillary thyroid cancer treated with ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation. Conclusion The expression of fasting serum TSH and sTg in patients with papillary thyroid cancer before treatment is related to the prognosis of ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation treatment. The overexpression of serum TSH and sTg is a risk factor for poor prognosis of patients.
