Research Progress on Klebsiella pneumoniae Mastitis in Dairy Cows
Mastitis is one of the major diseases that restrict the development of the global dairy industry, typically caused by infectious or environmental pathogens.Among all bacterial pathogens that cause mastitis in dairy cows,Klebsiella pneumoniae infections result in significant milk loss and severe clinical symptoms in affected cows. This paper reviews the clinical symptoms, microbiology, epidemiology, pathogenic mechanisms, prevention measures, and treatment methods of Klebsiella pneumoniae mastitis in dairy cows.It aims to provide theoretical and practical guidance for the prevention and control of Klebsiella pneumoniae mastitis in modern dairy farms, contributing to the healthy development of the dairy industry.
