Analysis of Low Concentration Inflow in Wastewater Treatment Plants
With the issuance of the Three Year Action Plan for Improving the Quality&Efficiency of Urban Sewage Treatment(2019~2021),various parts of the country are actively carrying out quality and efficiency improvement work. After the implementation of the project, the problem of low influent concentration in some urban sewage treatment plants has been limited in improvement, becoming a pain point for improving quality and efficiency.Based on the completion of the municipal drainage network renovation project,an effectiveness evaluation and investigation were conducted on the sewage zoning of a certain sewage treatment plant where the influent CODCr concentration was still less than 100 mg/L.Through water quality and quantity balance calculation,it was analyzed that there were problems in the new construction area, such as mismatch between planning and current situation, high proportion of non-domestic water, and complex situation of rainwater and sewage mixing. The conclusion was drawn that it is difficult to completely solve the low concentration influent problem of the sewage plant through engineering means.Provide suggestions for optimizing the drainage structure, emphasizing the integration of construction and management, strengthening drainage management, and reasonably setting quality and efficiency improvement goals for the subsequent work in the region.
