Big data has been widely used in municipal engineering,but the problems of sparsity and low quality of big data need to be solved urgently.Therefore,a method for evaluating the quality of big data is proposed,which includes 7 primary characteristic indicators,38 secondary measurement indicators,and an arithmetic weighted average calculation formula.The practical cases of topographic maps and BIM libraries verify that the method is applicable,effective,and correct,and it has certain reference value for the practical application of big data quality evaluation in municipal engineering.
