Parametric Design of Lattice System Bridge with Longitudinal&Transverse Beams
Parametric design is a method to directly obtain 3D model by setting parameters, and then convert 3D model into 2D drawing through program output.Unlike the traditional way of making 2D drawings first and then turning 2D drawings to get 3D models, the parametric design method has the advantages of high efficiency, accuracy, flexibility and automation. The parametric design of longitudinal and transverse beam lattice bridge system aims to achieve the balance of structural performance, beauty and function,so as to meet the traffic demand and urban landscape requirements. The design process includes:firstly, according to the specific design requirements of the project and the tilt photography data of the project site, the 3D model of the bridge structure is directly generated through parametric design;secondly, the 3D model is imported into MIDAS program for structural analysis.According to the feedback of the calculation results, the structure is iteratively optimized in GH parametric program. Finally, the construction drawing and BIM model are output by drawing software. In practical engineering, parametric design is conducive to improving the accuracy of calculation model, structural performance and design efficiency.
