Discussion on the Design Development Process&Multi-Function Integration Strategy of Binjiang Road in Chongqing
This paper considers and summarizes the design and development of Binjiang Road in the main urban area of Chongqing,and introduces and prospects the design process of Binjiang Road in terms of functional positioning,flood control standards,linear indicators,road network connection and cross-sectional layout since Chongqing is directly under the jurisdiction of the central government.It reviews the transformation of Binjiang Road from meeting traffic functions to paying attention to service functions,and then to protecting history&culture and paying attention to ecology.It also discusses the strategies and thinking of Binjiang Road's multi-functional integration and humanized space building.
