Discussion on the Traffic Demands&Optimization Countermeasure of Building a Slow Traffic Friendly City:a Case Study of the Street Crossing Demands&Footbridge Construction in Beijing
For big cities,building slow traffic friendly cities is both a goal and a challenge.It summarizes and draws on the experience of slow traffic construction in foreign cities,based on the study of domestic slow traffic planning and technical standards.Through long-term observation and practice,as well as first-hand information on citizens'demands,it extracts and summarizes citizens'demands for slow traffic,and proposes countermeasures and measures.And combined with the content of the citizen hotline and the pedestrian bridge project plan,analyze the case of the pedestrian bridge in Beijing as the starting point.The case and achievements provide strong support for comprehensive governance by focusing on both supply and demand,and meeting the needs of citizens with high-quality supply.They offer useful references and assistance for the integrated development of slow traffic and public transportation in the future,and for the construction of slow traffic friendly cities.
