With the increasing demand of the people for the quality of their living environment and the emergence of new urban development concepts such as park cities, the expansion of municipal facilities into underground spaces and the integration with parks have gained popularity.Consequently, the fully underground garbage transfer station has been proposed and has become an effective means to address the not in my backyard(NIMBY)effect. This construction method is particularly suitable for central urban areas with numerous sensitive targets and scarce construction land. The fully underground garbage transfer station can be divided into four layout forms according to the transfer process and workshop layout:horizontal ramp type, horizontal lifting type, vertical ramp type, and vertical lifting type. The article aims to explore the interrelationships between the engineering costs, workshop footprint, and transfer scale of these four layout forms, and to verify and analyze them through actual domestic cases.Based on this, suggestions are proposed for selecting the layout form of fully underground transfer stations under different transfer scales.
