Research progress of multi-omics in diabetes mellitus with metabolic associated fatty liver disease
Diabetes mellitus(DM)and metabolic associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)share common pathogenic factors.Liver lipid accumulation leads to insulin resistance,and the risk of DM gradually increases with the severity of MAFLD.Multi-omics research provides a basis for the prevention,diagnosis,and treatment of DM combined with MAFLD.This article reviews the progress of multi-omics research in DM combined with MAFLD.
