Inclusion and Exclusion:Vocational Education Experience of Persons with Disabilities in the Context of Inclusive Education
The experiences and feelings of persons with disabilities in inclusive settings are an important part of the vocational education that cannot be ignored,but there are only a few qualitative studies on the vocational education of persons with disabilities in inclusive settings.This study conducted a qualitative meta-analysis on 20 research papers written in English meeting the inclusion criteria.After conceptual translation and refinement,it was categorized into four themes:external inclusion experience,external exclusion experience,self-inclusion experience and self-exclusion experience.The findings of this study partly explain the influencing factors on the quality of vocational education and employment outcomes for people with disabilities,and provide a reference for how persons with disabilities are prepared for the careers in inclusive settings.
