Textual Analysis of Undergraduate Talent Cultivation Programes for Special Education Teacher Training in China in the Context of Teacher Education Professional Accreditation
Special education is the bottom-up project of the national education system,and the cultivation and quality of its teachers is the key to ensuring that children with special needs enjoy a fair and quality education.Teacher cultivation accreditation aims to encourage colleges and universities to cultivate high-quality,specialized and innovative teachers,and the undergraduate teacher cultivation program for special education is the most systematic blueprint and direct basis for teacher cultivation in the context of professional accreditation.Through the analysis of special education teacher cultivation programs in 27 colleges and universities,it is found that there are commonalities in their objectives,contents and concepts.But there are still deficiencies such as the mismatch between the cultivation objectives and demands,insufficient reflection of professional specificity in the professional core courses,and unreasonable number of curriculums supporting graduation requirements.In the future,the design of programs for undergraduate special education teacher cultivation should be continuously optimized to enhance the vocational orientation of the objectives,highlight the"professionalism"of the core courses,and build a closed-loop talent cultivation system.
