To investigate the mediating effect of school adaptation in the relationship between self-consciousness and bullying,as well as the moderating effect of teacher support among middle school students in deaf schools,a survey was conducted within 363 middle school students in deaf schools using self-consciousness scale, school adaptation scale, teacher support scale, and bullying scale. Results have shown:(1)The self-consciousness negatively predicted bullying among middle school students in deaf schools;(2)The school adaptation mediated the relationship between self-consciousness and bullying;(3)The teacher support reinforces the role of self-consciousness as a predictor of school adaptation, the role of school adaptation as a protection against school bullying, and also the role of self-awareness as a protection against school bullying at the same time.Accordingly, the research suggests preventing and responding to deaf students'bullying behavior from three aspects:enhancing self-consciousness,improving school adaptation level, and strengthening teacher support behaviors.
