Developing creativity in gifted children is an important way to cultivate top innovative talents for the country.Creative self-efficacy is regarded as an important predictor of creativity and plays a very important role in creativity development,and it is of great significance to explore its influencing factors.In this study,257 gifted children in ordinary classes were used as subjects,and a self-reporting scale was used to examine the effects of peer support on creative self-efficacy in gifted children in ordinary classes,and to further explore the mediating roles of mental toughness and emotional perception in it.The results showed that:(1)peer support,resilience,emotional perception,and creative self-efficacy of gifted children were all significantly and positively correlated,and peer support for gifted children significantly and positively predicted creative self-efficacy;(2)resilience and emotional perception significantly mediated the relationship between peer support and creative self-efficacy in gifted children,and there were two mediation paths:one was the mediation of emotional perception,and the other was the chain mediation of resilience and emotional perception.Schools should pay attention to the level of peer support for gifted children in integrated classroom,and can also take measures to enhance their resilience and emotional perception as a means of boosting the creative self-efficacy of gifted children.
