Crossing the Digital Divide:International Practice and Experience of Digital Transformation of Special Education
The gradual penetration of digital technology in the field of special education provides an important opportunity to bridge the digital divide between groups.The background and needs of the current digital transformation of special education mainly include the inducement of the times,technological drive,and endogenous demand.At present,the actions and initiatives taken by countries and international organizations around the world on how digital technology can empower the development of special education can be summarized as implementing the concept of universal learning design for equity and inclusion,coordinating the practice of collaborative governance of multiple subjects,rationally allocating high-quality educational resources,and improving and standardizing the educational evaluation system.In view of this,in the process of digital transformation of special education,China should combine the concept of universal learning design to promote the intelligent support of special education classrooms;improve digital literacy and care about the bond between practitioners;pay attention to the needs of students with disabilities and develop adaptive digital resources;consolidate platform construction and build an efficient digital evaluation system for special education.
