The Impact of Effort-Reward Imbalance on Job Burnout among Inclusive Education Teachers:The Mediating Role of Future Time Perspective
To explore the relationship between effort-reward imbalance and job burnout among inclusive education teachers and the mediating role of future time perspective,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 584 inclusive education teachers.The study found that:(1)61.6%of inclusive education teachers had an effort-reward imbalance,with job burnout close to the medium level and future time perspective above the medium level.There were significant differences in effort-reward imbalance by title and teaching age,and significant differences in job burnout by title,teaching age,and school level;(2)effort-reward imbalance significantly positively predicted job burnout,and future time perspective significantly negatively predicted job burnout;(3)future time perspective mediated the relationship between effort-reward imbalance and job burnout among inclusive education teachers.Therefore,it is recommended to reduce the job burnout by alleviating the effort-reward imbalance and increasing the level of future time perspective of inclusive education teachers.
