摘要
明清时期,北京城内的出行方式主要依托肩舆、车马等陆上交通工具.肩舆既是舒适的出行工具,也是特权与财富的象征;车马则可满足不同阶层人士出行所需.明清文人笔记对北京居民出行方式的诸多记述,可管窥北京城的社会进步、科技发展、居民社会身份与财富等级,并最终体现出城市独特的社会风貌和文化特质.
Abstract
In the Ming and Qing dynasties,the means of travel inside Beijing refered mainly to land vehicles such as sedan chairs and horse chariots.The sedan chairs were not only comfortable means of transport,but also a symbol of privilege and wealth,and horse chariots could meet the travel needs of different classes.The numerous accounts of Beijing residents'means of travel in the biji(literary notes)of scholars from the Ming and Qing dynasties offer a glimpse into the city's social progress,technological development,residents'social status and wealth hierarchy,ultimately reflecting the city's unique social customs and cultural features.
