摘要
严文明先生(1932-2024)是著名的考古学家,他在考古学研究、考古学教育、文物保护等领域都做出了卓越贡献.他曾提出史前中国的重瓣花格局理论,找到了开启整个中国新石器时代考古学大门的钥匙,是中国新石器时代考古学体系的创建者、中华文明探源研究的先行者和领航者、稻作农业长江起源说和边缘起源论的提出者、五帝时代考古学探索的倡导者、中国考古学国际化的重要组织者和推动者.
Abstract
Prof.Yan Wenming(1932-2024)is a renowned archaeologist who made outstanding contributions in the fields of archaeological research,archaeological education,and conservation of cultural relics.He proposed"multi-layered petal theory"describing the Chinese pehistoric cultural landscape and fourd the keys to research Chinese neolithic age.He is one founder of the academic system of Chinese neolithic archaeology,the pioneer and pilot of the research on the origin of Chinese civilization,the proposer of the Yangtze origin theory of rice agriculture and marginal zone theory of agricultual origins,the advocate of the archaeological exploration of the Era of the Five Emperors,and the important organizer and promoter of the internationalization of Chinese archaeology.
