Developments and Future Directions:Researches on the International Communication of Chinese Culture in the Past 20 Years
Promoting the international communication of Chinese culture is a strategic task aimed at enhancing China's ability to communicate internationally.It is also a contemporary thesis of developing a strong socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.This study analyzes 650 papers as research objects,employing bibliometric methods and CiteSpace visual analysis tool to create a knowledge map for the study of the international communication of Chinese culture.This map directly presents hot-topics,development trends and frontier orientations.The Research finds that around this core proposition,academic circles in China have formed a theoretical research pattern characterized by"multiple integration and multiple branches."The study aggregates research hotspots,including the historical orientation and strategic attributes of international communication of Chinese culture,basic content and path selection,and the realistic challenges and innovation mechanisms involved.A retrospective analysis of development can be divided into three stages:germination stage,clear stage and deep stage.The exploration of frontier orientations encompasses three core purports:serving political agendas,exploring communication paths and integrating output content.Looking forward to the future,this field can be deepened and expanded in terms of the intensity of strategic communication,the breadth of disciplinary integration and the temperature of emotional communication.
