Evaluation of the Application Effect of Root Cause Analysis Method in Medical Quality and Safety Management in Rehabilitation Department
Objective To explore the application effect of root cause analysis method in the medical quality and safety management of rehabilitation department.Methods 32 rehabilitation medical staff of Zaozhuang Central Hospital of Shandong Guoxin Nursing Group from January to December 2021 were selected as research subjects.According to the different management models,the conventional medical safety management model implemented from January to June 2021 was set as the control group,and the management model of the root cause analysis method based on the control group management from July to December 2021 was set as the observation group.The quality of medical care,inci-dence of risk events,and satisfaction with management were compared between the two groups.Results The scores of medical quality in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the differences was statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total incidence of risk events in the observation group was 2.61%,which was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.062,P=0.001).The total satisfaction score with management in the observation group was(87.63±1.70)points,which was higher than the control group's(70.41±1.74)points,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of root cause analysis management can significantly improve the medical quality of medical staff,reduce the occurrence of medical risk events,and enhance the recognition of medical staff.
