Application of Mini-CEX in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Teaching in Emergency Medicine
Objective To explore the application effect of Mini Clinical Evaluation Exercise(Mini-CEX)in emer-gency medicine cardiopulmonary resuscitation teaching.Methods 46 interns in the Intensive Care Center of Honghe Hospital Affiliated to Kunming Medical University from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects and divided into two groups according to different teaching methods,with 23 interns in each group.The control group was taught by mind mapping method,and the research group was also taught by Mini-CEX evaluation model.The score of cardiac resuscitation knowledge,the score of cardiac compression operation,the score of clinical comprehen-sive ability and the score of satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results After 12 months of teaching,the cardiac resuscitation knowledge score of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 6 and 12 months after teaching,the cardiac compression operation items,clinical comprehensive ability scores and satisfaction scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The teaching method of Mini-CEX combined mind mapping can acheive a significant effect in cardiopulmonary resuscitation teaching in emergency medicine,which helps trainees to understand the knowledge of cardiac resuscitation.
