Application of Teach-back Combined Vascular Model Teaching Method in Interventional Resident Training Teaching
Objective To take percutaneous hepatic arterial chemoembolization as an example to explore the applica-tion value of Teach-back combined with vascular model in the standardized training and teaching of interventional residents.Methods 24 resident training physicians who received rotation in the Interventional Department of Union Shenzhen Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology from January 2022 to Sepecmber 2023 were se-lected as the study objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into a Teach-back com-bined blood vessel model teaching method group(observation group)and a conventional teaching group(control group),with 12 resident training doctors in each group.The theoretical knowledge and practical ability of the two groups were compared.Results The theoretical knowledge,skill operation assessment and total scores of the observa-tion group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The satisfaction of the residential training students in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Teach-back combined with vascular model teach-ing method has certain value in the teaching of resident training in interventional departments.It can effectively im-prove the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills of residents in training.It is easily accepted by residents in train-ing.
