Analysis of Application Value of Target Teaching Model Combined with PBL Teaching Method in Clinical Teaching of TCM Otolaryngology
Objective To explore the application value of target teaching model combined with problem-based learn-ing(PBL)teaching method in clinical teaching of otolaryngology in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods 52 interns from the Department of Otolaryngology,the Second Affiliated People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chi-nese Medicine from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into the con-trol group and the observation group based on the principle of balanced and comparable information between groups,with 26 interns in each group.Conventional teaching methods were given in the control group,and the target teaching model combined with PBL teaching method were given in the observation group.At the end of the teaching,the assess-ment results,the comprehensive ability of the interns and the teaching satisfaction between the two groups were com-pared.Results The scores of the items of assessment and comprehensive ability of intern doctors in observation group was higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The observation group's scores in stimulating learning interest,deepening the mastery of the course,and identifying with the teaching model were all higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Con-clusion The target teaching model combined with PBL teaching method can have a positive impact on the assessment results,comprehensive ability and teaching satisfaction of interns in the Department of Otolaryngology of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
