Analysis of the Effects of Applying Risk Management in Medical Device Management
Objective To explore the application effect of risk management in hospital medical device management and its impact on management quality.Methods Management and analysis of 3 000 medical devices currently in clini-cal use in Qixia People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were conducted.According to the different management methods adopted,they were divided into control group and observation group.The routine management was adopted in the control group from January to December 2021,and the risk management was adopted in the obser-vation group from January to December 2022.All medical devices were carried out by fixed personnel,a total of 25 management personnel.Statistics and comparison were made on the improvement of management-related indicators,management quality and error rate of the two groups of medical devices.Results The improvement of management-related indicators of medical devices in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group;the management quality of the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group.The error rate of medical devices in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group;the management staff of the observation group had a significantly higher level of knowledge about medical devices than the control group.The differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of risk management methods in medical device management has significant effects.It can effectively improve the management quality of medical devices,reduce the error rate of medical devices,and ensure the safe use of medical devices..
