Research on the Impact of PBL-based"Flipped Classroom"on Teaching Effect by Combining 3D Anatomy and Surgical Animation Tutorials and CBL Teaching Method in Sports Medicine Internship Teaching
Objective To evaluate the application effect of the"flipped classroom"based on problem based learning(PBL)combined with case-based learning(CBL)and 3D anatomy, and arthroscopic simulated surgeryvideos in sports medicine internship teaching. Methods 60 students who were intern in the Sports Medicine Department of Rizhao People's Hospital from June 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects. The students were ran-domly divided into observation group and control group by lottery method, with 30 cases in each group. The observa-tion group used PBL's"flipped classroom"combined with CBL teaching method and 3D anatomy simulation surgery animation video materials for teaching, while the control group used traditional teaching methods for teaching and ex-planation.The trainees'ratings of the teaching model, trainee assessment results, and satisfaction with the teaching model between two groups of students were compared. Results The teaching model score, internship assessment re-sults and teaching satisfaction of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Using the"flipped classroom"teaching method based on PBL combined with CBL and 3D simulated surgical videos can significantly improve the clinical knowledge level and over-all satisfaction of trainee doctors in the sports medicine department.
