The Impact of Closed Management Model in Wards on the Effectiveness of Infection Management and Control in Community Hospitals
Objective To analyze the impact of the closed management model of wards on the effectiveness of infec-tion management and control in community hospitals.Methods A total of 50 medical staff in the Hehua Community Health Service Center of Longgang District Fifth People's Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as re-search subjects.The ward was under semi-open management from June to December 2022,which was the control group,and the ward was under closed management during January to June 2023,which was the observation group.Compared the passing rate of surface cleaning of environmental objects(door handles,seats,floors,instruments)in the ward,physician satisfaction with infection management,and scores of medical staff's work ability(hand hygiene and disinfection,environmental treatment,and protection management)under different management modes.Results The passing rate of surface cleaning of environmental objects in the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Physicians in the observation group were more satisfied with infection management than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The working ability score of medical staff in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Adopting a closed ward management model in community hospital management can effectively improve the effectiveness of infection management and control in community hos-pitals and enhance the professional capabilities of medical staff.It helps reduce the incidence of hospital infections and ensures the cleanliness of the ward environment and surface objects.Compared with the conventional management model,it can improve doctors'satisfaction with infection management.
