Objective To explore the application effect of 6S management mode in the process of emergency nursing management.Methods A total of 40 nurses from the Department of Emergency Medicine of Macheng People's Hospi-tal from October 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects.Taking time as the node,the conven-tional management mode was adopted from October 2021 to September 2022,and the 6S management mode was ad-opted from October 2022 to Septembe 2023.The quality of nursing,the standard of hygiene implementation and the incidence of error behavior of nursing staff under different management modes were analyzed.Results The clinical nursing quality scores of 6S management mode was higher than that of conventional management mode,and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).The management scores of surgical disinfection,wearing of protective equipment and environmental hygiene of nursing staff in 6S management mode was higher than that in conventional management mode,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of nursing errors in 6S management mode was lower than that in conventional management mode,and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application effect of 6S management mode in emergency department nursing manage-ment is remarkable,which can improve the quality of clinical nursing,reduce the occurrence of error behavior,im-prove the health standard of nursing staff.
