Objective To explore the application effect of participatory teaching in the standardized training of respira-tory medicine residents.Methods From July 2020 to July 2023,50 respiratory medicine residents in the Affiliated Brain Hospital of Nanjing Medical University were selected as the research objects.They were divided into control group and study group according to different teaching methods of standardized training,with 25 residents in each group.The control group received conventional teaching method,and the study group received participatory teaching method.The training effects of the two groups were compared.Results After the training,the examination scores and the total scores of the Critical Thinking Inventory Chinese Version of the two groups were significantly higher than those before the training,and the scores of study group was higher than the control group,the differences were statis-tically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of each item of autonomous learning ability of residents in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The residents'recognition score of various teaching indicators in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of the residents in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The use of participatory teaching in the standardized training of respiratory medicine residents can effec-tively improve residents'assessment scores,critical thinking ability and independent learning ability,and the training effect is obvious.
