Evaluation of Case Teaching Method to Improve the Quality of Practice Teaching in Medical Laboratory Technology Specialty
Objective Aiming at the practice of medical laboratory technology,the paper designed and implemented the case teaching method and discussed the teaching quality.Methods From January 2022 to January 2023 in Juxian Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center,a total of 40 interns majored in medical laboratory technology were selected as the research objects.According to different teaching programs,the interns were divided into two groups with 20 students in each group.The observation group was combined with the case teaching method,while the control group was combined with the conventional teaching method.Compare the teaching quality of two groups of different teaching schemes.Results After the teaching,the evaluation scores of the interns in the observa-tion group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction of interns in observation group(100.00%)was higher than that in control group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.444,P=0.035).Conclusion Combining with the actual clinical situation of medical laboratory technology,the design and application of case teaching method can effectively improve the learning effect of professional interns,promote their better grasp of theoretical knowledge,improve technical opera-tion level,and improve teaching satisfaction.
