Objective To explore and analyze the effect of case teaching combined with innovative fun oriented micro class in general surgery teaching.Methods A total of 60 interns who received clinical instruction in the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong Second Medical University from January 2020 to March 2023 were selected as the research ob-jects and divided into two groups according to the random number table method.The reference group(n=30)received routine instruction,and the research group(n=30)received case teaching combined with innovative fun oriented micro-class instruction.The teaching effect of the two groups was compared.Results The test scores of theoretical knowledge,practical skills,critical thinking ability and teaching satisfaction of the research group were higher than those of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The applica-tion of case teaching combined with innovative fun oriented micro-classes in general surgery teaching can help interns better consolidate theoretical knowledge,effectively improve their clinical practice skills,improve their critical think-ing ability,and improve their satisfaction with teaching work,so that they can make more accurate judgments about clinical work and adapt to future jobs more quickly.
