Effect Analysis of Web-based Self-directed Learning Combined Topic Teaching Method in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Teaching
Objective To explore and verify the application value of web-based self-directed learning combined topic teaching method in otolaryngology head and neck surgery teaching.Methods A total of 204 trainees in the rotation of Otorhinolaryngology,Head and Neck Surgery Department of the Second Hospital Affiliated to Naval Medical Univer-sity from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to different teaching meth-ods,they were divided into case-based learning(CBL)group(n=100)in the academic year 2021.and joint project teaching group(n=104)in the 2022 academic year.The teaching effect and student recognition of two groups were compared and analyzed.Results The average theoretical scores and excellence rate of the network self-directed learn-ing joint project teaching group were higher than those of the CBL group,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(both P<0.05).The satisfaction of the network self-directed learning joint project teaching group was significantly better than that of the CBL teaching group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the teaching of otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery,the web-based self-directed learning and joint topic teaching method can improve the teaching effect objectively,and can be recognized subjectively by medical students.
