Application of Medical 3D Printing Digital Cloud Platform into Spine Sur-gery CBL Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of case based learning(CBL)in spine surgery by introducing medical 3D printing digital cloud platform. Methods Sixty-eight undergraduates of grade 2019 and 60 master stu-dents of grade 2021 studying spinal surgery in Xiangya Hospital of Central South University from September 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into undergraduate 3D+CBL group(n=34)and CBL group(n=34),master 3D+CBL group(n=30)and CBL group(n=30)according to random number table method. The 3D+CBL group introduced 3D printing digital cloud platform into CBL teaching, while the CBL group only ad-opted CBL teaching. The teaching effect of the two groups was compared. Results Among undergraduates, the written test score of the 3D+CBL group was better than that of the CBL group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but the skill test score of the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Among masters, the written test scores and skill test scores of the 3D+CBL group were better than those of the CBL group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The teaching and satisfaction scores of the undergraduate and master's 3D+CBL groups were higher than those of the CBL group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The medical 3D printing digital cloud platform can significantly improve the effect of spine surgery CBL teaching.
