The Impact of Flexible Management Model on Young Nurses'Work Stress,Coping Styles and Professional Burnout
Objective To explore the impact of flexible management model on young nurses'coping styles and job burnout.Methods A total of 72 young nurses working in Yunyang People's Hospital of Danyang City from January to December 2023 were randomly selected as the research objects.The flexible management model was implemented for young nurses in June 2023.A questionnaire survey was condacted to evaluate the work pressure,coping style,burnout and work ability of young nurses before(routine management model,January to may 2023)and after(flexible manage-ment model,June to December 2023)the implementation of flexible management model.Results Compared with be-fore the implementation,the work stress scores of the young nurses after the implementation were lower in the aspects of nursing major and work,working environment and resources,workload and time allocation,management and inter-personal relationship,and patient nursing,with statistical significance(all P<0.05).After implementation,the positive coping scores of young nurses were higher and the negative coping scores were lower,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(both P<0.05).After implementation,the scores of personal accomplishment of young nurses were higher,but emotional exhaustion and depersonalization scores were lower,the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After implementation,the scores of young nurses'working ability(basic nursing,ward nursing,health education,nursing documents)were higher,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of flexible management model in the management of young nurses can reduce the work pressure and professional burnout of young nurses and improve their active coping and nursing work ability.
