Application of Pre-prescription Review in Rational Drug Use in Outpa-tient Pharmacies
Objective To analyze the application effect of pre-prescription review in rational drug use in outpatient pharmacies.Methods A total of 9 staff from the outpatient pharmacy of the Third Hospital of Jiangnongken were se-lected as the research subjects.From January to June 2022,the pre-review of prescriptions in outpatient pharmacies was not online before the application,and from July 2022 to January 2023,the pre-review of prescriptions in outpa-tient pharmacies was after the application was launched.The rationality of prescription review,prescription returns,and pharmacists'work ability before and after the pre-application of prescription pre-review were compared.Results After the application,the prescription passing rate and pharmacist intervention success rate were significantly higher than before the application,while the unreasonable type of prescription rate and prescription return rate were lower than before the application,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The work ability evaluation of outpatient pharmacy staff after application was higher than before application,the difference was statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05).Conclusion Pre-prescription review can improve the level of medication management in outpatient pharmacies,increase the rationality of medication use,and significantly improve the working ability of outpatient phar-macy staff.
